Here at New Beginnings Church, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. New Beginnings Church began what will be an historic spiritual journey on August 16, 2005. Since that first day as a church body, Dr. Billy Ray Harper, his wife Karen and a church full of loving, caring, servants of God have faithfully served Christ in bringing a message of hope and encouragement to the people of Beaumont Texas.

Our church is not “business as usual,” or just another cookie cutter church service for our area. We realize the reason most people don’t got to church is because they’ve been. What they experienced there often did not connect with what was going on in their daily lives. Sometimes they found harsh and judgmental people who majored on their shortcomings rather than seeing their unlimited potential in Christ.

If that, or a similar experience, has been yours, we are deeply troubled and genuinely apologetic. Christ’s body is not supposed to function that way. He instructed us to first “take the beam out” of our own eye before we point out the speck in yours.

At New Beginnings Church in Beaumont, we want to be a people who are deeply committed to loving people the way Christ does.
